For our midterm project, we decided to pick something we read this semester and compare it to newer shows/movies/books. We tried to focus on one common theme for each comparison:
Sexuality/Lesbianism in Carmilla and Jennifer's Body
Abandonment in "The Wife's Lament and New Moon
Restraint in Dracula and True Blood
Insanity in "The Yellow Wallpaper" and Shutter Island
Along with a short essay about these topics, we've also included a cast for movie version of the works we read in class.
